Tryouts Info

LSC Legacy tryouts will be held in June for our competitive (11U-19U) teams. 

The tryout window is established by OSA. 

Tuesday, June 4        6 pm - 7:30 pm

Thursday, June 6     6 pm - 7:30 pm

Friday, June 7       6 pm - 7:30 pm

Teams fill quickly!
Returning players are not guaranteed their roster spot on their previous team if they register late.

Tryout Information:

  • Players are divided into groups based on gender and birth year.
  • Players are expected to tryout at their age group level.
  • Tryouts are scheduled for three days. Players are required to attend two days, but we recommend attending all three.
  • If you are unable to attend the tryout dates listed please contact DOC or Competitive Director.

Tryouts will be conducted by the Competitive Director and Director of Coaching along with age group coaches and club personnel. There will be three days of tryouts for each age group. The dates for each age group tryout are listed above.

Players may start checking in 30 minutes before the evaluation is scheduled to begin.

During the tryouts, players will participate in small group activities as well as an on-field scrimmage. Parents may observe the evaluations from a distance. During the evaluations, they should not interact with the players or evaluators in any way.

If the player is interested in goalkeeping, please notify staff at tryout check-in

LSC Legacy Team Tryout Policy 

  • 2006-2009 Boys will tryout together, Legacy Coaching staff will build the most competitive teams, regardless of age. We will make as many teams as possible.
  • 2010-2011 Boys will tryout together, Legacy Coaching staff will build the most competitive teams, regardless of age. We will make as many teams as possible.
  • 2012-2014 Boys will tryout together, Legacy Coaching staff will build the most competitive teams, regardless of age. We will make as many teams as possible.
  • 2006-2009 Girls will tryout together, Legacy Coaching staff will build the most competitive teams, regardless of age. We will make as many teams as possible.
  • 2010-2011 Girls will tryout together, Legacy Coaching staff will build the most competitive teams, regardless of age. We will make as many teams as possible.
  • 2012-2014 Girls will tryout together, Legacy Coaching staff will build the most competitive teams, regardless of age. We will make as many teams as possible.

 

If a tryout is cancelled due to inclement weather, the make-up time for that tryout will be announced.
